kate's first hair cut!

So we had to bribe her with a sucker, granola bar, and a bag of popcorn, but it was worth it in the end. Once she got settled into her police car and the "Rella" movie got underway, we were good to go. I was scared to death that her curls would disappear, but they're back and curlier than ever.

Sam's "Welcome Home" Party!

I am so proud of my girl. Kate is an amazing big sister. She met us at the door on the day we brought Sam home saying, "C'mon, Sam! See Sam's room! Let's play!" It was the sweetest thing I've ever seen. When we got to his room, she was so excited that she danced a little diddy with bear. She's been a doll!

I couldn't stop crying in the moments just after Samuel was born. I know you've heard it before, but this is the baby I thought I'd never have, and there he was. A beautiful, healthy, baby boy.

A few to start with

Stephen here. I'm going to keep this short since I do not quite have the writing prowess of my wife. Kelly is getting some much needed rest at the moment. Many of you are anxiously awaiting pics of Samuel (sorry it's taken so long Mom and Dad) so here are a few to get started. Obviously, there will be lots to come. And who knows Kelly may have to hire me on as a co-author to keep the reports current on two. We love you all.
