we're back!

I found the thing-a-ma-jigger! I was so excited last Friday to open a box and see that thing, and I had high hopes of spending my Friday night updating the blog. But, a storm that afternoon fried our internet somehow, and now I'm rushing to get up just a few pics while visiting Stephen at work. So, there's not much commentary, but, really, do you check the Burp Cloth to hear my random thoughts? I didn't think so.

Now that we're in GA, we're just 2 hours away from the Lombard gang. So, when Jeremy and Ashley and their crew of handsome boys come to visit their family, we'll get to visit a little, too. Their newest addition, Grayson, is just as cute as his big brothers.

hey nana...whatcha dooon?

Kate's new phrase, as mentioned above, is "whatcha dooon?" I tried counting how many times she asked me in one hour, but I couldn't keep up. And she doesn't keep asking because she isn't getting any answers. Oh no. I answer every time. It goes like this:
Kate: Mommy, mommy, whatcha dooon?
Mommy: I'm cooking dinner.
Kate: Ohhh. (10 second pause) Mommy, mommy, whatcha dooon?
Mommy: Cooking dinner.
Kate: Mommy....
You get the picture. How cute is that?

All the moving took a toll on Kate. This photo was taken during a quick visit with Nana and Pops. For a girl who doesn't particularly enjoy napping, this was an unusual event.
