burton update (long-time comin')

Oh, boy. I'm in trouble. It's been a long time, I know. I don't think I realized how long though until I received a phone call today from a concerned friend. The blog hadn't been updated in so long that she feared some misfortune had befallen the Burtons. Rest assured, friends, all is well. All is wonderful. The Burtons have been a busy crew lately...traveling to Austin, getting ready for the AP exam (please pray), and...drum roll please...celebrating the news of our second baby!!!!! To be totally honest, I didn't want to post anything until I found a cute t-shirt for Kate saying "I'm the big sis" or something of the sort. But, as is usually the case with me shopping, I'm unable to find anything when I'm actually looking for it, and that's what took me so stinkin' long to update the ole blog.

Anyways, our baby is due December 3, and we are super excited. Of course, we are so incredibley thankful for this pregnancy. It wasn't long ago at all that we were told to NEVER (underlined and in bold print on the medical records) to have another baby, but God has blessed us more than we ever thought possible.

So, we've been a little preoccupied, but there's no excuses when it comes to the blog, so my apologies. Here's a smattering of photos to make up for lost time.
